
The RYR-1 Foundation Finds Its New Program & Marketing Director
The RYR-1 Foundation is pleased to announce the recent hiring of full-time staff member, Jenna Bieber, for the position of Program & Marketing Director.
Jenna has a B.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education and an M.A. in Higher Education, and she brings 10 years of experience from the nonprofit education sector.
She began her professional career at Geneva College while earning her master’s degree there and has held various positions at the college. Most recently, she had been the Director of Academic Operations at Geneva College since 2018, managing the day-to-day operations for the online programs at the college. Her previous experience includes budgeting revenue and tracking expenses for multiple educational programs, overseeing technical processes related to student database management, working closely with third party vendors, and providing administrative oversight for program schedules. In her role at The RYR-1 Foundation, Jenna will oversee and further develop processes related to RYR-1 programming and research, including grant administration; she will also develop strategy for marketing communication efforts through the website and social media.
Since learning about The RYR-1 Foundation, she has been moved by the stories and experiences of individuals and families navigating RYR-1-related diseases and she is excited to bring her skillset to The RYR-1 Foundation in order to further expand the mission of the organization by continuing to raise awareness and to support affected individuals and families in new ways.
